Why do I need to create a profile?

When searching for or creating new rides, we prioritize local rides and locations to help you find and create rides faster and easier.

When creating your profile, we need basic location information - only city and state - to determine where to center the geographic search. This keeps it local, but we're not capturing any personally identifying information like a home or work address.

But don't worry, you can still find and create rides anywhere simply by typing in the city or zip code you want to use. And, you can update your profile's home location and expand the search radius any time your want
